Not sure what's going on but suddenly July is busy for hen's parties. Perhaps it's all the lockdowns and rescheduling here in Melbourne, right now people seem to be least bothered by the weather for their celebrations. After all the most important thing is that your event can actually go ahead and my advice is to plan a smaller style event as if things are going ahead regardless of Covid. A while back I wrote that Winter can be a great time for a celebration as many venues have cheaper function rooms with open fire places - why not travel down to the Mornington Peninsula for an over night stay? There are some of Australia's finest wineries and if it's a sunny day you can rug up for a beach walk and discover some local hidden cafes and art galleries. Looking forward to July and Winter Solstice and embracing my first 'Game of Thrones' themed party coming up!
